Day 120: Hodgepodge

120 is a great number. It’s not only even, but a multiple of 10 and 12, and it has a pleasing look, like it’s extra round somehow. Some numbers are like that. I don’t really understand why, but they are.
Social media is pushing all my buttons today. I am sick of videos of “Karens,” police brutality, and idiots spouting nonsense on Fox News. I am sick of Donald Trump and the GOP and all the sick, stupid, corrupt, and cruel things they do every day. I am sick of people saying it’s time to go back to school even as the virus is spreading like wildfire, there are still shortages of testing and critical equipment, and there are still so many unanswered questions about how the virus spreads and what it does to our bodies. I am sick of false information. I am sick of uncertainties. I am sick of just about everything.
I need a vacation.
My house isn’t going to clean itself. I wish it would. But to be honest, if there were just one thing I could take from the Harry Potter universe and bring to the real world, that probably wouldn’t be it.
I painted my toenails today. I did a really bad job. Hardly anyone is going to notice, though. Three people, tops. So no biggie.
