Faithful Reader did a lot of cleaning in the kitchen last night, so I was surprised to see that the greasy splatter shield was still on the counter. “Why does he suddenly get lazy when it comes to the nice splatter shield that I bought him?” I said to myself. “Why can’t he be bothered to put it in the dishwasher?” Well, the dirty thing couldn’t sit there forever, so I put it in the dishwasher myself…and found that it’s too big for our dishwasher. Darn that dishwasher!<\/p>\n

Lessons learned this morning:<\/p>\n

  1. Husband is not lazy (or perhaps he is, but one cannot use the splatter shield as evidence).<\/li>\n
