We’ve had a lot of rain lately, and I’ve been hoping it will knock back the gypsy moth caterpillars. I’m not optimistic, though.<\/p>\n

Places I’ve Found Caterpillars So Far:<\/p>\n

  1. Trees (obviously)<\/li>\n
  2. The siding of my house<\/li>\n
  3. My husband’s clothes<\/li>\n
  4. The toilet (presumably transferred from said husband’s clothes)<\/li>\n
  5. My foot<\/li>\n
  6. [edit 6\/2\/2017] Pressed between the pages of my journal, which I took outside one afternoon so that I could write while the children were playing. Ick.<\/li>\n
  7. [edit 6\/28\/2017] Caterpillar poop gets inside my kids’ lunch boxes. The little poops stick to the ice packs and swell up from the moisture. Ick.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
