I believe it is specifically <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ct-botanical-society.org\/Plants\/view\/222\"><em>Galium mollugo<\/em><\/a>, commonly called wild madder or white bedstraw. Wild madder is native to Europe but seems to be pretty common in North America. I found it mentioned on websites for wildflowers in Virginia, Illinois, Ohio, and all of the New England states.<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let me introduce you to another local wildflower.
