My hair is longer now than it has been in more than a decade. I had already postponed getting a haircut several times before the pandemic hit, so my hair was longer than it ought to have been. Now it is so long that I have to wear it up, and I can feel my ponytail swishing across my back. Washing and conditioning it is getting to be a chore. At a minimum, I need a trim, if only to help with the tangles. My husband has offered to cut it. I’m on the fence about this. I have cut hair a few times, so I know how difficult it is to do well.
