I had seen it on a list of recommended reading, and I was able to purchase a used copy at a reasonable price. I had hoped for something heist-y, but it&#8217;s more spy-y. It&#8217;s a very serious sort of book, with plot lines involving Nazis and Holocaust victims, and it&#8217;s written in a style that is, basically, reportage. I don&#8217;t typically read thrillers, so I don&#8217;t know if this book is a typical example of the genre, but I suspect that it is. I&#8217;m not loving it, but I&#8217;m also not hating it. It&#8217;s making me feel that I&#8217;ve broken out of my reading bubble a bit and that that&#8217;s a good thing.
