I wasn&#8217;t expecting anything from her, so I had no idea what was in the envelope. It turned out to be a card for my 25th work anniversary. Surprise! I had forgotten that my anniversary was this month. I would almost have preferred not to be reminded of my age and inertia, except that it was a kind and generous gift, and I am grateful. So Happy 25th Anniversary to me. But just for today.
