Yesterday the weather forecast had us in the 8-12&#8243; range. Today I saw that we were in the 12-15&#8243; range. Uh-oh. So I just want to say that the lower number was more than adequate. There&#8217;s certainly no need for the Powers That Be to ship any additional snow to us. We&#8217;d prefer that any excess snow be sent to someone in snow need.<\/li><li>Tonight I will be very disappointed if I don&#8217;t finish my current book, <em>The Uncommoners: The Crooked Sixpence<\/em> by Jennifer Bell.<\/li><li>I have zero Christmas spirit today, but at least I have a lot of potato chips because I ordered a lot of potato chips last week and they arrived today. But even the potato chips aren&#8217;t 100% satisfactory, because among the lot ought to have been one bag of Cajun flavored chips, and in its place is some weird Salt &amp; Vinegar variant. That&#8217;s 2020 for you. Even the little things must go wrong somehow. But whatever. Salt &amp; Vinegar chips are better than a lot of what 2020 is dishing out, so I think I&#8217;ll just eat them and be happy to have chips.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The snow has started to fall.
