Kettle corn is lightly coated in sugar, which gives it a delicate crunch and, as I discovered today, helps to keep it from going stale. It&#8217;s so much better than your average caramel or buttered popcorn. As a child, I looked forward to fairs partly for the cotton candy and fried dough. Those treats tasted great back then, but they don&#8217;t suit my adult palate.
