My husband came into the room at that moment and, quickly realizing what the problem was, took the spider out of my hair. Then he showed it to me. It was<\/em> pretty big.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you’re wondering how I managed to stay calm, it’s because I’m allergic to insect stings and consequently I’ve taught myself to remain motionless when a bee or wasp lands on me. That skill translates to spiders to some degree.
