If I don&#8217;t finish, no one will, but I&#8217;ve fallen behind. To catch up, I&#8217;m going to read several novels back-to-back. I&#8217;m reading <em>Breakfast of Champions<\/em> now and have both <em>Slapstick <\/em>and <em>Jailbird<\/em> handy.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, I wanted to find a good quote from <em>Slaughterhouse-Five<\/em> before returning it to the library. Though the novel is fragmentary, there aren&#8217;t many pieces that stand well alone, so I opted for the first line of Chapter 2.
