My Faithful Reader left for another wild whiskey binge, this time cross-country. He’s only been gone for about 12 hours and already I’m feeling lonely and a little crazy. Who can I turn to now that he’s not here?<\/p>\n

Evil Twin says, “Shut up and go to sleep.” This is similar to the advice that Faithful Reader gave me when I broke down and called him, only he was more polite and didn’t tell me to shut up.<\/p>\n
So why am I here blogging and not in bed trying to sleep?<\/p>\n
I don’t feel like I can sleep. There’s nothing on TV and I don’t want to read right now. That leaves one very crazy brain in need of something else to do until it gets tired enough for sleep.<\/p>\n
Since my silly worries are making me crazy, I’m amusing myself by looking up related words on Google. Wow! “Worries” gets you 46 million hits. “Anxiety” yields nearly 63 million and “panic” is good for over 98 million.<\/p>\n
There sure are a lot of anxious and panicky worrywarts out there. And to think I felt lonely.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
