The deadline is July 31. There are two runner-up prizes of $1,000 each. The grand prize is $5,000 plus the possibility of publication. Entry is free! They allow multiple submissions, so I can send them the story that Highlights<\/em> rejected plus any other stories that pop into my head between now and then.
