Caterpillars Everywhere

We’ve had a lot of rain lately, and I’ve been hoping it will knock back the gypsy moth caterpillars. I’m not optimistic, though.

Places I’ve Found Caterpillars So Far:

1. Trees (obviously)
2. The siding of my house
3. My husband’s clothes
4. The toilet (presumably transferred from said husband’s clothes)
5. My foot
6. [edit 6/2/2017] Pressed between the pages of my journal, which I took outside one afternoon so that I could write while the children were playing. Ick.
7. [edit 6/28/2017] Caterpillar poop gets inside my kids’ lunch boxes. The little poops stick to the ice packs and swell up from the moisture. Ick.
