Big Event

One of Livia’s pieces of artwork was chosen by her art teacher for a special showcase. We were invited to the opening of the showcase, which was being hosted by a local business. I wasn’t expecting anything big, so I was in for quite a surprise. The building was big, and the crowd was big. The quantity of art was big (all the local schools were represented). The refreshments included a very big selection of cookies. Years from now, if the children remember anything from the event, I suspect it will be the cookies. For kids, cookies are a big event!
