School isn’t over officially until tomorrow, but Marshall’s teachers dropped by the house today to say good-bye to him in person and to give him a graduation gift. It was so sad that he couldn’t even get close to them. I don’t know if he would have wanted to hug them, but the coronavirus took away the choice. This wasn’t the graduation ceremony that he deserved, but I’m happy that he was able to have at least this much.
To Marshall: Congratulations on finishing fifth grade! I know distance learning was a struggle, and not what you wanted, but you stuck with it. I am so proud of you!
