Tonight the kids and I had another Christmas craft night. While we crafted, the kids explained “Parent Logic” to me. I wrote down everything they told me so that I could share it with you. I’m sure you will find it illuminating.
Parent Logic, According to Kids
- Everything has too much sugar, and sugar makes you hyper.
- If children are in another room, parents can’t hear them.
- You must take a photo of every single thing your child does.
- You think everything your kids make is wonderful, but only because they’re your kids.
- Any temperature under 99 degrees is cold.
- Kids are insanely clumsy and always fall down.
- All scratches are fatal and require emergency care.
- Everything tastes good.
- Kids should like everything that parents like.
- Kids must stay at least 10 feet away from sharp items.
- Kids are always cold and always need comfort.
- There’s a lot more parent logic, and basically it’s all horrible.
