The other day I spent some time reading about ARGs (alternate reality games), how QAnon is like an ARG, and a phenomenon called “apophenia.” Apophenia is, according to Merriam-Webster, “the tendency to perceive a connection or meaningful pattern between unrelated or random things (such as objects or ideas).” Every article that I read had links to other articles, which linked to yet others, and so on. I could have lost hours to the research if I’d had the patience. Reading about QAnon’s rabbit holes is a rabbit hole itself!

All of us, we make mistakes. And at times we are lost. And as we get older, we learn we don’t always have control of things — not even a president does. But we do have control over how we respond to the world. We do have control over how we treat one another.

I know you said you’re done counting, but are you also done posting every day? Or are you just getting caught up? I miss hearing your updates!
TBH, I’m not sure how to compel myself to write every day without keeping a count, but I’m also not sure I want to. January’s a good time for deciding what’s working or not working in one’s life. So this is something I’ll be thinking about during the next couple of weeks.
Indeed. I will continue to look forward to your posts, no matter how frequently or infrequently they appear.
Thank you 🙂
