Reading Report: June 22, 2026

I finished The Land and Its People by David Sedaris, and because the humor was working for me, I ordered a few more of his books. I also ordered The Other Bennet Sister because I was curious about the book that had inspired the TV series. I’m sure there are oodles of other books I should be reading, starting with the ones already on my shelves and including the many brilliant classics that I haven’t yet tackled, but I gotta go where my feelings are taking me right now. I’ve struggled a lot recently to find books to keep my interest, and I don’t want to risk entirely losing my ability to focus on reading.

Currently reading: The Book of Earth (Dragon Quartet, Vol. One) by Marjorie B. Kellogg, a fantasy novel from 1995. It’s a cheap, secondhand paperback. I have no great expectations from it, so hopefully it can cause no great disappointments.
