   Gondola, gamelan, and green all spring to mind, as does glisten, which is very different from listen. Also gambol, which seems like a good thing to do on a lovely weekend, as would glissade, particularly in winter. And gerbera, which make a lovely, if droopy bouquet that you could give to a grandmother, which might be my very favorite, if prejudiced, “g” word.
