Livia’s eyes are better than mine. She spotted two violets in the yard today. I’m not sure which of the two flowers ought to be officially designated First Violet of 2018. One of them clearly had something to say, so I chose its picture for this post.
“Pssst!” the violet whispered excitedly. “Spring is here. Pass it on!”
