I have such sweet children. They both picked bouquets of dandelions and tiny violets for me on the way to the bus stop this morning. It’s early in the season, so most of the flowers are too short-stemmed to fit in a vase. That makes the bunches of flowers less like bouquets and more like piles, but they sure are cheerful. The weather this week has been a mix of April showers and warm, sunny days. Soon the violets will grow tall enough for proper bouquets, and then we will fill the house with them.

You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something—your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.
