Day 102: All of You, Not All Y’all

Sometimes I want to say “all y’all.” Then I remember that I live in New England, and we don’t say that here. And we shouldn’t, even when it feels like it would be fun or convenient. It doesn’t belong to us.

    I do say it, but I live in the South now, so I’m pretty sure it’s fair game.

    I can’t speak for the South, but it seems to me that you have Southern cred, so you ought to be allowed.
